Final Tips for A1.1 English Learners
If you are taking an A1.1 English test, focus on understanding simple sentences rather than trying to use difficult vocabulary. Practise introducing yourself, spelling your name, talking about your family, describing your home, naming everyday objects, and asking basic questions.
It is also useful to practise the days of the week and months of the year until you can say them confidently. For travel, learn a few essential phrases that you can use immediately, such as asking for directions, buying tickets, asking about prices, and asking someone to repeat information.
Most importantly, do not be afraid of making mistakes. Mistakes are a normal part of learning a language. Practise a little every day, read simple English, listen to short conversations, and try to speak whenever you can.
With regular practice, these basic A1.1 skills will give you a strong foundation for progressing to A1.2 and eventually A2 English.
